Preschool Story Hour & Little Picassos ArtThe story hour program helps children to build a love of language and literature. Each session includes stories, songs, craft, and other themed activities that promote reading readiness and socialization skills. Little Picassos is an art exploration program, which will give children of all ages an opportunity to try out different mediums while completing a fun project in each session. Summer Reading ProgramEach summer we have weekly programs for school-aged children on a variety of topics based on the theme established by the Collaborative Summer Reading Program. Our 2019 program season is over, but be sure to check back in 2020 for next summer!

Northwoods Children's Museum PassThe Plum Lake Library will soon be offering a free pass to the Northwoods Children’s Museum in Eagle River. The pass will be good for up to six people (adults and/or children). It can be reserved for one day only. Please contact the library to reserve a date - 715-542-2020.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten1000 books before kindergarten is an early literacy program designed to help prepare a child to enter kindergarten. The goal is to foster a love for reading. Children from infant up to kindergarten can participate. Stop into the library to sign up and get a folder and reading log.
