Non-Fiction Book Club
A new book club is starting at the library. This book club will focus on non-fiction books, anything from biographies to cookbooks. Nothing is off limits as long as it is non-fiction. Join us for our February meeting and discussion of the book Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann on February 25th, at 11 am. Monthly meetings will continue each month on the 4th Monday of each month (with a couple exceptions). Click here for more info.
Plum Lake Library Trivia Contest
Looking for a fun evening out? Then don't miss Plum Lake Library's 2019 Trivia event. It will be held on Thursday, March 7th, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 PM. Sign your team up today! Information packets nd registration forms are available at the library or you can download them here. $60 per team of up to 6 members. There will also be prizes for the best team costume/table design based on a theme. We love book-related themes:) We also will have a great assortment of raffle prizes. Northwoods Children's Museum Passes
The Plum Lake Library is now offering a free pass to the Northwoods Children’s Museum in Eagle River. The pass will be good for up to six people (adults and/or children). It can be reserved for one day only. Please contact the library to reserve a date - 715-542-2020.
Free Online Gale Courses Now Available
We now will provide free access to Gale Courses, which offer a wide variety of interactive online courses. They are available to anyone with a library card in good standing. The courses run for a six week period, with new sessions beginning each month. You will find classes on using various computer software, personal finance, business, accounting, education and more.
